Mirimare unveils the new 43 in the Gulf of Pozzuoli: the Campanian shipyard looks to the future
From the first Sunrise to the new cabin model in the Minimal range, the shipyard founded in 2020 by Vincenzo and Giorgio continues its growth path by focusing on quality, customer relationships and international expansion.
The waters of the Gulf of Pozzuoli provided the backdrop on 9 June for the official presentation of the new Mirimare 43, a model that marks an important milestone in the evolution of the Campanian shipyard. More than the launch of a new boat, the event was an opportunity to look back on an entrepreneurial story that began just five years ago and has been built on passion, personal investment and constant attention to the needs of boat owners. A common thread runs throughout Mirimare’s history: the determination to grow without losing direct contact with the product and with its customers. This was the message that emerged during the presentation of the new Mirimare 43, held in the Gulf of Pozzuoli before customers, dealers, collaborators and shipyard partners. Founded in 2020 by Vincenzo and Giorgio, Mirimare was born from the experience gained in the yacht storage sector and from the founders’ shared passion for the sea.

A business project developed from a question that was as simple as it was ambitious: to build a RIB exactly as its founders wanted it. “We have never looked for shortcuts,” Vincenzo explained during his speech. “We preferred to grow one step at a time, always remaining inside the shipyard and experiencing every stage firsthand.” A philosophy that has guided the company since its earliest days and is still reflected today in its production and commercial organisation. From design to delivery, the direct relationship with the owner has become one of the brand’s defining characteristics. One of the aspects most frequently highlighted during the evening was the role customers have played in the development of the range.
The requests gathered over time, the feedback received during the use of the boats and the continuous dialogue with those who experience the sea either for pleasure or professionally have helped shape many of the solutions adopted by the shipyard. The first Sunrise represented the starting point of this journey. From that initial model, the range has progressively expanded to include several product lines and dedicated projects, including the Sunrise 7, still regarded as the brand’s flagship model, the Anila line and the Dentex 7, developed together with sport fishing professional Emiliano Gabrieli to meet the needs of fishing enthusiasts. A growth path that, although achieved over a relatively short period, has been accompanied by constant attention to production quality and the development of a dealer network based on long-term partnerships.

The Mirimare 43 opens a new chapter
The undisputed star of the evening was, naturally, the new Mirimare 43, a model that represents much more than a simple addition to the range for the shipyard. “It is a major step,” Vincenzo explained. “It is the model that opens a new, more ambitious and more mature chapter.” The new 43 is in fact the first cabin model in the Minimal line and inaugurates a new generation of products designed to further expand the shipyard’s offering. A project aimed at increasingly wider markets and one that reflects the ambition to strengthen the brand’s presence beyond Italy’s borders. Alongside the new 43, further developments have already been announced, including the future Mirimare 34 Cabin, confirming a strategy focused on expanding the range and entering increasingly advanced market segments.
During the presentation, special thanks were expressed to employees, suppliers, dealers and family members who have supported the company’s growth. Particularly significant was the reference to the region where the project was born. “We have a dream,” Vincenzo said, “to make our shipyard a point of reference for the boating industry in Campania.” An ambition that finds a tangible expression in the new Mirimare 43. Not simply a new boat, but the symbol of an entrepreneurial journey built from the ground up through continuous investment, daily commitment and a clear vision for the future.

The presentation in the Gulf of Pozzuoli therefore took on the meaning of an intermediate milestone rather than a finishing point. Five years after the brand’s foundation, Mirimare is entering a new phase of its industrial and commercial growth. With the debut of the 43 and the projects already announced for the future, the Campanian shipyard confirms its determination to strengthen its position within the Italian recreational boating industry while maintaining the close relationship with customers and the hands-on culture that has accompanied its evolution since day one.
