Lomac completes Turismo range with new 8.5 designed by Federico Fiorentino, debut at Genoa 2026
Lomac has added the Turismo 8.5 to its Turismo range, completing the line that began in 2022 with the Turismo 7.0. The new model, designed by Federico Fiorentino, sits in the 8.5-metre segment and carries forward the design language and layout approach of the larger models in the series.
The boat retains the profile that defines the Turismo range, with taut lines and what the yard describes as a military-inspired "heavy duty" look. The layout starts at the stern with two integrated bathing platforms and a central walkway, followed by a cockpit with a U-shaped dinette seating eight, convertible into a sunpad by lowering the table. The helm area features split seats for driver and co-driver with an integrated fridge. The bow houses a sunpad with storage compartments underneath.
The central console contains a bow-access compartment that can be configured as a heads (chemical or marine), or used as a storage area, changing room or shelter. Two T-top options are available: one with a stainless-steel frame and fabric cover, and a rigid version in fibreglass with aramid and carbon fibres. Maximum capacity is 14 persons.

The hull, designed by Federico Fiorentino, was developed using CFD studies and validation testing. The tubes are hypalon neoprene by Orca Pennel & Flipo. Engine options include single outboards from 250 to 425 hp or twin configurations up to 2x200 hp, with stated top speeds exceeding 50 knots.
"Every new model is a step in a broader path, where design, engineering and product culture must stay aligned. That is the balance we try to maintain, regardless of the size of the boat. And the Turismo 8.5 fits into this context, with a size that is particularly strategic for the market," says Fabrizio Lo Manto, Managing Director of Lomac.
The official debut is scheduled for the Genoa Boat Show 2026. From July, the model will be presented through a tour across the Mediterranean.
Lomac, founded in Milan in 1960 and now run by the third generation of the Lo Manto family, manufactures high-end rigid inflatable boats. The current range comprises 58 models across 6 series, distributed in 20 countries through approximately 70 dealers.
