Lürssen completes steel structure for 101.4-metre Project Ziggy as superyacht enters outfitting

Lürssen has reached a construction milestone in northern Germany: the steel architectural structure of Project Ziggy, measuring 101.4 metres overall, is now complete. The yacht moves into outfitting, with delivery scheduled for 2028.

The project is a collaboration with British design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, which is responsible for both the exterior and interior design. The working relationship between yard and studio is well established. The yacht's material language centres on glass and steel: angular surfaces are broken by large glazed panels that, according to the yard, are among the biggest structural glass elements ever fitted on a Lürssen.

The broad, uncluttered foredeck is fully certified for helicopter operations. Cascading aft decks accommodate a sequence of pools and wellness spaces. The yacht is a high-volume vessel designed for extended living on board, with a general arrangement and amenities developed to support a high level of service across any cruising area.

Project Ziggy was commissioned by a North American client, introduced to Lürssen by Thom Conboy & Associates. WMG serves as the Owner's Representative for the build.
