F.lli Razeto e Casareto at Salone Nautico Internazionale di Genova

2021 represents a memorable year for the historic company that faces the new century of activity with a shower of international awards. OSSH, intelligent luminous handle with antimicrobial surface has in fact just won the: German Design Award, German Innovation Award, A'Design Award, DNA Paris Awards, IDA desigfn Award and participates with confidence at the Design Innovation Award in the Accessories and Nautical Equipment category at the Genoa International Boat Show.
But the news is: from a simple handle Ossh becomes a system, both for use on super yachts and on cruise ships. The handles can therefore take different shapes to meet the aesthetic needs of the interior of each vessel.
 
The OSSH system was successful in the collaboration with Amer Yachts which chose to use the plant of intelligent luminous handles on the innovative Amer 120. It was therefore possible to synthesize the system that included 3 different types of kits: stand alone, wired and wi-fi into a single system valid for super yachts and ships. The details of this project will be unveiled during the Tecno Marathon, hosted by Amer Yachts Organization, which will be held on Friday 17 September from 4.30 to 5.30 pm at the Innovation Room, Mezzanine of Blue Pavillion, at the 61st Genoa Boat Show.
The luminous handles light up to be detected in critical conditions to provide information such as emergency indicating escape routes with the color of light. The plant interacts with external systems via communication protocols such as Modbus. A truly smart handle: the management electronics are placed in the ceiling in special junction boxes, wired with a BUS485 system that carries a network signal throughout the boat and power supply to the handles through the lock catches.
In cooperation with CSL srl of Genova and Sea Energy of Viareggio the system was simply installed, as an unambiguous safety means of hazard communication via BUS485. A dedicated touch screen display features infotainment luminous scenarios when no emergency signal is active.
The handle features 40 rgb LED's hidden in the lever, light is emitted on the door surface through a groove in the lower part of the lever. The square iconic design and the 40 LED's give the name to the door handle: QUADRALED.
 
The same innovative features enclosed in the Quadraled and OSSH handles can therefore be broken down and adopted into different products. At the Genoa Boat Show are in fact presented:
 
- Centesimo antimicrobial handles for both doors and cabinet, whose design is a tribute to the company's history; the same model was in fact installed on the doors of the legendary ocean liner Cristoforo Colombo. Unlike all the other products of the Ligurian company displayed in glass cases to avoid being touched, the latter will be presented with the PLEASE TOUCH ME tag, an invitation to touch the handles with confidence in contrast to the COVID period. Centesimo feature ESI antimicrobial system, a metal cluster complex that emits silver ions (Ag+) and other metal ions, it excites a continuous antimicrobial action ; the effectiveness against Corona Virus has been found with laboratory tests and certified by University of Modena. Esi is actually a diffusion treatment and is therefore permanent, Centesimo handles cannot be contaminated.

Next to CENTESIMO, along with the wide selection of door locksets, there will be OSSH and Quadraled intelligent luminous handles,the latter being the Top of the Range, which combines the technological features of safety and mitigation of the spread of pathogens with the elegance of a custom product, tailor-made for Amer 120.
 
But at the Genoa Boat Show F.Ili Razeto and Casareto dedicates a tribute also to the mythical seafaring imaginery, and inaugurates the brand new line of wooden handles Supersticious Sailors (touch wood and spit down wind) presenting ROOF -IN, an elegant handle composed of a chromed brass cubic knob and Padouk wooden lever.
