Thanks to a recent change in national regulations, Porto Montenegro's partnership with Alpha42 enables renowned yachting contractors to operate directly within the marina to oversee and deliver repair and refit projects, in line with the highest industry standards.

Alpha42 brings over 15 years' experience in newbuild, refit and repair for super- and megayachts up to 100m+, as well as a wide network of contractors across Europe. Their work involves project managing from quotation to delivery, saving time and costs for captains, owners and managers who will, as of this winter season, no longer need to venture farther afield for maintenance works. With expert logistics personnel to source materials and equipment from global suppliers, the partnership with Alpha42 helps simplify the mundane handling and delivery, taking the pressure away from owners and bringing attractive VAT discounts on spare parts.

“From day one, our focus was on offering an unparalleled, seven-star service to all our clients. Building an all-encompassing marina meant we needed to provide more in the services and refit area. This will be the first season where boats can finish a wide range of works onboard, directly in the marina and with specialised support from our partnership project management company,” explains Porto Montenegro Marina Director, Tony Browne.

With three international airports within short distance from the marina, all with private jet facilities, as well as an onsite helipad, Porto Montenegro offers excellent accessibility year-round, as well as a mild winter climate to rival much of central and western Europe. Residing crew can enjoy the Platinum-rated, state-of-the-art facilities and full-service support for all boats, alongside an active training and recreation calendar as part of the Crew Club membership.

Designed to bring crew together and offer a vibrant and varied lifestyle for outside working hours, the membership promises seasonal access to crew-only ski chalet, Superyacht Winter Games tournament and Warsash Academy and RYA professional training courses, as just some of the incentives of the Porto Montenegro marina lifestyle.
