Pogo Structures launches 9-metre Loxo 30 Open
Pogo Structures introduces the Loxo 30 Open: modular 9-metre platform
French builder Pogo Structures, based in Combrit in southern Brittany, has announced the Loxo 30 Open, the third model in its Loxo power range following the 32 and the 40 launched in autumn 2025. It is a 9-metre open platform with a beam of 2.55 metres, a dimension that makes it trailerable. Capacity is 13 persons.
The hull was developed by Pogo Structures' engineering team to operate in the 15-20 knot speed range. Construction is vacuum-infused composite sandwich with fibreglass, polyester and foam core. According to the builder, the lightweight construction and hull profile require minimal power to plane, with fuel consumption up to 40% lower than comparable vessels. Propulsion options include a 150 hp outboard and electric power.
The open deck and modular architecture allow the layout to be configured for different uses: passenger transport, diving, maritime surveillance, harbour operations, professional fishing, sailing clubs and leisure. The hull incorporates watertight bulkheads and structural buoyancy volumes. The stern is designed to provide stability both underway and at anchor.
"With the Loxo 30 Open, our goal was to design an efficient powerboat capable of meeting today's market needs while anticipating tomorrow's developments. We set out to bring together low fuel consumption, robustness and versatility in a single boat," said Paul Bouroullec, co-CEO of the company.
"We see that today's professionals are looking for boats that can adapt to their work, rather than the other way around. The Loxo 30 Open was designed from the outset to incorporate this customisation capability and to evolve alongside changing uses throughout its lifetime," added Tanguy Bouroullec, co-CEO of the company.
The model is in its final engineering phase, with tooling and mould production underway. The first unit is scheduled for January 2027 and will be operated by Bleu Evasion, a company specialising in day-trip passenger transport in the Calanques National Park near Marseille.
Pogo Structures, founded in 1987, is an independent builder known for offshore racing and bluewater sailing yachts. Diversification into powerboats began around ten years ago with the Loxo 32. The company employs 80 people on a 20,000 m² site and generates turnover exceeding €10 million.
