OceanWorld Group joins Wider’s shareholder structure

Wider has announced the entry of OceanWorld Group into the shareholder structure of Wider Luxembourg S.àr.l., a move that opens a new phase in the international development of the Italian shipyard. The agreement предусматриes a gradual entry already planned to be completed by the end of 2026. The transaction was carried out through a capital increase fully subscribed by OceanWorld Group and is intended to support Wider’s industrial plan, focused on the international expansion of the brand and the enlargement of its product range. According to the company, the strengthened capital base will allow the shipyard to enter a new growth phase while maintaining the support of existing shareholders and integrating the contribution of the new industrial and commercial partner.

Marcello Maggi, member of the board of Wider Luxembourg S.àr.l., described the transaction as “a pivotal moment” for the group’s development path, underlining that the partnership represents not only financial support but also a strategic alignment regarding the development of the Wider brand and products. Lydia Pascarelli, CEO of OceanWorld Group, also highlighted the industrial value of the Italian shipyard, explaining that the group will actively support the international growth process of the brand with the aim of strengthening its positioning in the luxury yachting segment.

The development plan announced by Wider includes the strengthening of the global sales network and a further expansion of the range, while maintaining its manufacturing roots in the Marche region and in Italy. The agreement is also part of a collaboration path that had already started in 2025, when Wider and OceanWorld presented the new Oceans Yachts brand and the Oceans 47 model at the Monaco Yacht Show, developed together with Vripack Design Studio.

It is worth noting that OceanWorld Group operates in the GCC area (Gulf Cooperation Council) through a network active in yachting services, brokerage, yacht building, charter and the distribution of international brands across the Middle East. The group also controls several companies specialised in yacht management and support services throughout the Gulf region.
