Baglietto launches first T60, 60-metre flagship
In La Spezia, the shipyard Baglietto has launched hull no. 10260, the first unit of the T60 model, marking a significant step in the company’s industrial development. With a length of 60 metres and approximately 1,100 GT, it is the largest yacht ever built in the shipyard’s history, which dates back to 1854.
The project is designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, responsible for the exterior lines, with interiors by Margherita Casprini. The T60 represents an evolution of the T52, introducing solutions aimed at enhancing continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.
From a layout perspective, the yacht adopts a configuration that reduces the traditional separation between spaces, thanks to full-height, fully opening glazing on the main and upper decks. The beach area, main salon and dining area are conceived as a single interconnected environment arranged over multiple levels, with a beach lounge of approximately 60 sqm connected to the main salon via an open staircase.

A defining feature of the project is the entire upper deck dedicated to the owner, configured as a full owners’ deck. The owner’s suite is accessed via a central lobby with a glass lift and includes an office, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with separate services, as well as outdoor areas with a private pool at the bow and a lounge area aft.
Guest accommodation includes four cabins on the main deck and an additional cabin on the lower deck, alongside dedicated crew areas. The same deck also houses a massage room and a fully equipped galley, while technical and service spaces are located in the under-lower deck.
The wheelhouse is positioned on the sun deck, which also features dining areas and sunbathing spaces. The garage, located forward on the main deck, can accommodate a 23-foot tender and jet skis, and a touch-and-go helipad is also provided at the bow.
The T60 is powered by two CAT 3512 engines, delivering a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The launch ceremony took place in the presence of the owner, shipyard management and representatives of the Gavio Group, along with local and national authorities. The event was also opened to the shipyard’s employees and their families, as well as local students involved in a sea-themed initiative that will conclude on World Boating Day, May 23.

With the T60, Baglietto continues its development in the megayacht segment, confirming a design approach focused on spatial integration and the expansion of its product range.
