The story of Sacs Tecnorib is one of industrial vision and Italian success, able to combine artisanal tradition, design, and the ability to compete on a global scale.

The origins: Sacs and Tecnorib, two different souls of the same market

The journey began in 2019, when Matteo Magni and Gianni De Bonis, both already established entrepreneurs in the Maxi-RIB sector, started evaluating possible synergies between their companies.
Sacs, a brand that, while retaining the heritage of tubulars, has transformed its larger models into true luxury motoryachts, and Tecnorib, licensee of the Pirelli and P Zero brands in the nautical sector, with a range of speedboats designed for those who seek performance and sportiness without giving up on quality.

The idea of a merger remained alive even during the pandemic, slowed down but not stopped. In 2021, Sacs Tecnorib Spa was officially established: an international hub of luxury boating with a clear project – to combine complementary expertise and markets in order to establish itself as a reference player in the Maxi-RIB segment.

Organizational growth and new strategies

The merger led to a reorganization aimed at integrating without overlapping. The sales networks remained independent but coordinated under a single management entrusted to Andrea Loro, with the goal of exploiting synergies without creating channel conflicts.

2024 marked an important step with the entry of Nicola Antonelli as Chief Marketing Officer, after his experience at Ducati. His background in the automotive sector introduced an innovative and international approach to marketing and product design, with a strong impact on the group’s identity.

Also in 2024, another key step took place: the entry of NUO Capital, an investment fund partly owned by Exor (Agnelli-Elkann family) and by the Pao Cheng family, which acquired 32% of the company. The operation was not just a capital injection but a strategic reinforcement, with the aim of consolidating European leadership and accelerating expansion into key markets such as Asia and the United States.

Partnerships, co-branding and lifestyle

2025 confirmed Sacs Tecnorib’s ability to combine boating and lifestyle. In May, the 20th anniversary of the collaboration with Pirelli was celebrated, with more than 1,000 owners in over 30 countries enjoying Speedboats that bring the racing identity of the brand from the track to the water. The anniversary became an opportunity to renew an agreement focused on performance, style, and sustainability.

At the same time, the collaboration with Kiton led to the creation of the Strider 13 KNT x Sacs, a Maxi-RIB that merges marine technology and sartorial luxury, with interiors and details inspired by Neapolitan tailoring tradition.

The bond with art is also strong: at the upcoming boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest indoor boat show to be held in January 2026, Mar Garrente will be unveiled. This sculpture, in Bianco Altissimo marble by Christian Grande, interprets design and dynamism in an artistic key, also influencing the brand’s future models.

Sustainability and responsibility

Alongside design, environmental commitment is also growing. Through its partnership with Blue Marine Foundation, Sacs Tecnorib supports the goal of protecting 30% of ocean waters by 2030, reinforcing its positioning as a brand that not only draws inspiration from the sea but also gives back in terms of responsibility and commitment.

A growing leadership

With exports representing over 70% of its turnover, an average annual growth of 25%, and a roadmap including new ranges and markets, Sacs Tecnorib today presents itself as a reference player in the international Maxi-RIB segment. A brand able to combine the best of Made in Italy – design, luxury, innovation – with an industrial and managerial vision of global scope.
