Düsseldorf, Germany, 22 January 2018 – Mercury Marine, the world leader in marine propulsion and technology, continues to enhance the boating experience through its family of
VesselView displays. In November 2017, Mercury introduced VesselView903, the company’s largest and most advanced multifunction display. This month, Mercury will also introduce VesselView403 which replaces the VesselView4 and adds additional functionality to the consumer.

Since the 2003 launch of SystemView, Mercury has continued to set a new bar in the marine industry for digital controls, providing boaters custom Mercury hardware and functionality to maximize the boating experience.

“We have come a long way in a very short period of time and continue to innovate and listen to what our customer wants,” said Rob Hackbart, Category Director Controls and Riggings. “We live in a digital world and providing our customers the most intuitive controls that are easy to use is part of our growth strategy in this space.”

In 2013, Mercury shifted its focus away from custom hardware, focusing on the VesselView touch-screen interface. The new VesselView403 not only provides the digital interface they have come to expect from Mercury, but it also integrates an Active Trim interface so that the Active Trim dash pad is not required. Also, VV403 incorporates WiFi support through an included USB token to allow for hands-free reflash capability of the display. The new VesselView403 display is compatible with all of Mercury’s various SmartCraft-capable engines, single through quad engine applications. VesselView403 can display up to two engine’s data simultaneously.

“We have launched three major new upgrades to our VesselView family in 2017,” said Hackbarth. “In addition to the 903 and 403, we launched the 703 launched at the 2017 Miami International Boat Show. The new and advanced technology incorporates all the Simrad® accessories for the Go9 product line: Radar, Sonar transducers, Fish Finder transducers, AIS, VHF, Sonic Hub/Fusion Link/ SiriusXM, C-Zone/Naviop digital switching and more.”

From engine information to vessel systems, Mercury VesselView – the premiere engine information display in the recreational marine industry – is your information portal to your boat.
