The Monaco Yacht Show 2017 will give showers the chance to learn more a new model under development - as Lift Emotion BV returns to exhibit.

Lift Emotion BV will again exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017 with the biggest yacht in the show, M/Y Jubilee displaying several examples of the its elevator solutions. It’s the tenth anniversary of the company, which is celebrating installing over 300 elevators in yachts, private residences, offshore platforms and commercial buildings. Project highlights will be available to view at the Lift Emotions stand, Darse SUD QS67. In the past Lift Emotion has mentioned a special future concept; the spiral elevator. This is not the future anymore and will be revealed to the public soon.

While elevators are known and used onboard yachts, Lift Emotion wanted to challenge themselves to create something different.

“We came up with this concept and are inviting designers to see if they can anticipate new creations based on this.”

It would mean a potential new way of transporting people through buildings or vessels.

The interesting thing is that people could travel from pick up point to a level and door; it could become an additional feature on bigger ships or high end shops. People could go to a store and use the robot arm and be lifted to the exact level and step through the opening doors to the desired store.

Inside a yacht you could move between locations or deck levels as the cabin will have a ro-tating function to align with the different locations of the landing doors.
“Together with the talented designer Christian Leyk we have made a few concept drawing showing the potential.”

Another new innovation which has been in demand among yachts is Lift Emotion’s pop-up elevator design. It’s been integrated into several yachts’ superstructures recently, to deliver problem-free access to the sundeck or beach club. The team has also been pushing bound-aries on land; Lift Emotion is currently working on a head-turning elevator at a tech giant’s theatre in Silicon Valley. Meet the Lift Emotion team during the Monaco Yacht Show 2017, Darse SUD QS67, to dis-cuss turning your elevator needed into a custom work of technical beauty.
