HanseYachts AG maintains profitability amid revenue decline
HanseYachts AG today announces its preliminary financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025 (YTD June).
Preliminary Key Financial Highlights (YTD June 2025 vs. YTD June 2024):
• Revenue: 77,37 million € (previous year: 90,70 million €)
• Operating EBITDA: 6,15 million € (up from 3,95 million €) *
• Operating Result: 1,08 million € (up from -1,18 million €) *
The revenue decline reflects broader market conditions impacting the global boatbuilding industry. Nevertheless, HanseYachts delivered a significant improvement in profitability.
Strong Operating Performance
Operating EBITDA rose to 6,15 million €, reflecting the impact of efficiency initiatives, optimized production workflows, and a more focused sales approach. The results confirm the company’s return to sustainable operating performance in its core business.
Productive discussions with the financing banks, the federal state, and the previous majority shareholder have resulted in an agreement on a comprehensive debt waiver, which has had a positive effect on the Profit including restructuring effects: Net Profit including Restructuring Effects: 23,16 million €.
