Fountaine Pajot at the first edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow

Sailing boat

09/03/2026 - 17:51

From March 19 to 22, 2026, in the heart of the Port of Nice, Fountaine Pajot invites visitors to its stand F-15 to discover its vision of responsible cruising.

A pioneer in sustainable boating, Fountaine Pajot has been working for several years to reduce the environmental footprint of its catamarans. The ODSea+ solution, developed by the shipyard, combines hybrid electric propulsion, renewable energy generation and intelligent onboard energy management to optimize autonomy and limit emissions. In Nice, the FP41 ODSea+ will embody this approach in concrete terms: a 41-foot catamaran designed to sail further, combining demanding sailing performance with advanced energy management.

FP41 ODSEA+: A NEW ENERGY APPROACH FOR CRUISING

The FP41 already represents the balance sought by cruising catamaran owners: generous volumes, a welcoming cockpit, seamless circulation between living spaces, a panoramic saloon open to the outdoors and an ergonomic helm station.

With ODSea+, the FP41 evolves toward an integrated energy architecture including:

• Hybrid electric propulsion
• High-capacity batteries
• Hydrogeneration under sail
• Integrated solar panels
• Centralized and optimized energy management

This configuration makes it possible to generate energy while sailing, increase autonomy at anchor and significantly reduce reliance on the thermal engine. The objective is clear: support the evolution of sailing practices without compromising the onboard experience or the boat’s sailing qualities.

NICE BOATING TOMORROW: A BOATSHOW ALIGNED WITH FOUNTAINE PAJOT’S LEADERSHIP ON THE NEW CHALLENGES OF BOATING

For its first edition, Nice Boating Tomorrow places responsible innovation at the heart of its program. Fountaine Pajot’s presence at the event reflects a strong leadership position in addressing the major transformations facing the boating industry.

A pioneer on these topics, the shipyard has initiated and structured several key initiatives from the earliest stages of development: the progressive deployment of the ODSea+ solution across the core range, the design of an energy architecture developed with Alternatives Energies and its commitment to the HBTI protocol to measure and reduce the carbon footprint of its catamarans.

Beyond its own models, Fountaine Pajot aims to open up and share these advances across the industry, encouraging economies of scale and accelerating the adoption of more sustainable solutions throughout the nautical sector.

This commitment also extends to environmental action through collaboration with WWF and participation in the Posidonia Alliance alongside other industry stakeholders, with the goal of protecting Mediterranean seagrass ecosystems.

The FP41 ODSea+ presented in Nice perfectly illustrates this structured approach: an operational energy solution already integrated into an internationally recognized production model and set to expand further across the range.

ROUND TABLES TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE ODSEA+ SOLUTION

During the show, Fountaine Pajot will host round table discussions in partnership with JOOOL to explain in detail how the ODSea+ energy architecture works.

These sessions, open to both professionals and the public, will take place in the boatshow’s animation area:

Electric propulsion and energy management on boats over 40 feet
• Friday, March 20, 2026 | 2PM – 3PM
• Saturday, March 21, 2026 | 3PM – 4PM

Speakers:

• Sigrid Longeau, CSR Director, Groupe Fountaine Pajot
• Yannig Troël, Flagship Manager & ODSea+ Development, Fountaine Pajot
• Jérémy Bénichou, Sales Director, JOOOL
• Mathieu Johanet, Dealer TENOR, Dufour Yachts monohull sales

These discussions will explore the technical integration of hybrid systems, autonomy scenarios under sail and at anchor, intelligent energy management and the tangible benefits for sailors. The aim is to provide a clear and educational understanding of a technology that is progressively transforming the experience of blue water cruising.

Fountaine Pajot teams will also be available throughout the show to answer questions, present the ODSea+ solution in detail and offer demonstrations directly on board the FP41 ODSea+ at stand F-15.

Conference Invitation – Friday, March 20, 2026 – 4PM to 5PM
PRESERVING POSIDONIA IN THE MEDITERRANEAN: A BOATING CHALLENGE

Fountaine Pajot invites visitors to a conference dedicated to the preservation of Posidonia, a vital Mediterranean marine ecosystem, taking place in the boatshow’s animation area on Friday, March 20 from 4PM to 5PM. The conference is open to everyone, both boating professionals and the public.

Organized in collaboration with the Posidonia Alliance, WWF France and Garmin, the discussion will address the protection of seagrass meadows, raising awareness among boaters and evolving anchoring practices. This exchange will place the protection of Posidonia within a broader perspective that links boating practices and cruising lifestyles with environmental responsibility and collective action to preserve marine ecosystems.

Speakers:

• Jamila Poydenot, Deputy Director, CPIE Îles de Lérins & Secretary General, Posidonia Alliance
• Catherine Piante, Posidonia Program Officer, WWF France
• Sigrid Longeau, CSR Director, Groupe Fountaine Pajot
• Thomas Doret, France & Benelux Manager, Marine OEM Business
