As announced, the UIM, World Powerboating Federation, has verified the technical and organizational feasibility of a Round of the UIM XCAT World Championship in Italy. The positive result has led to the decision to request the authorization to race in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore, for the weekend 6-8 July.

The City of Stresa and its Mayor Giuseppe Bottini have given their willingness to host the XCAT Circus on the Stresa territory and in the Lake Maggiore waters, where two thrilling events of the XCAT Championship already took place in 2013 and 2014.

Starting today, the procedure will see the FIM (Italian Powerboating Federation) evaluate the documentation, in order to authorize the event.

The FIM President Vincenzo Iaconianni and the Federal staff, once evaluated the documentation, will be beside the organizers to grant the best success of the XCAT event, which will be, in 2018, the only one in Italy and Europe Italy and Europe for the 2018 season.
