Riva launches new 96' Argo Super flybridge in La Spezia

Riva launched the first unit of its new 96' Argo Super flybridge in La Spezia, with Ferretti Group CEO Stassi Anastassov and designers from Officina Italiana Design in attendance. The La Spezia yard builds models between 70 and 130 feet.

The 96' Argo Super is an evolution of the Riva 90' Argo. It was developed through a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and its Engineering division.

"It isn't history that makes a brand iconic, it's the courage to reinvent it, generation after generation. For more than 180 years, Riva has set the standard for timeless beauty in luxury yachting. The new Riva 96' Argo Super carries on that tradition with a yacht that is unmistakably Riva: innovative, livable and connected to the sea in a way it has never been before," said Stassi Anastassov, Chief Executive Officer of Ferretti Group.

The yacht has an overall length of 28.79 meters and a maximum beam of 6.50 meters. The first unit is finished in Aluminium with Bright Black details.

The stern and beach area have been redesigned. A sundeck with a handrail and cup holders is built into the garage door, which houses a Williams 435 tender and a jet ski. The adjoining swim platform can be moved hydraulically. The cockpit gains extra storage space and a built-in fridge, and the two longitudinal sofas by the dining table now have adjustable backrests. The flybridge adds a bar cabinet and tables with mahogany tops.

The main deck introduces a day head, a feature not found on the Riva 90' Argo. The salon comes in two layout options; this first unit uses aft dining and forward lounge seating. The full-beam owner's suite has larger windows.

Moving the day head to the main deck frees up space on the lower deck for guest accommodation. In the standard configuration, the lower deck has three guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin aft. The optional configuration has four cabins: three VIP and one guest cabin with twin beds.

The interior combines glossy wengé with matte light oak, along with mirrored surfaces and polished steel details.

The first unit is powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines rated at 2,000 mhp each. The technical package includes Seakeeper NG18 and NG10 gyroscopic stabilizers, the Watchit anti-collision system, Xenta's X-AID maneuvering assistance and virtual anchor system, and a stern thruster.

The Riva 96' Argo Super will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

Riva is a shipyard founded in 1842 on Lake Iseo. It has been part of Ferretti Group since 2000. The company operates three production sites: Sarnico, which builds yachts between 27 and 68 feet; La Spezia, opened in 2004 for yachts between 76 and 130 feet; and the Riva Superyachts Division, launched in 2014 in Ancona for steel yachts between 50 and 90 meters.

Ferretti Group designs, builds and sells yachts between 8 and 95 meters in length.
