D-Marin: over 70 events across Mediterranean marinas for summer 2026
D-Marin, one of the most extensive and rapidly expanding international marina networks, has announced its events calendar for summer 2026, featuring more than 70 initiatives across its Mediterranean destinations. The programme is positioned at the core of the boating season and aims to strengthen the role of marinas not only as berthing infrastructures, but as places for interaction and extended stays, capable of enhancing the experience of owners and crews beyond purely nautical activities.
The calendar combines sporting activities, cultural initiatives and social gatherings, ranging from regattas to open-air cinema screenings, as well as wellness sessions and social events. This approach reflects a management model in which the marina becomes an active hub along cruising routes, integrating port services, hospitality and entertainment, in line with the growing demand for more comprehensive experiences among boaters.

According to Natalia Amolochiti, Head of Customer Experience and Marketing at the group, the objective is to make marinas “vibrant places” where guests and local communities can meet and enjoy time by the sea. In this perspective, berthing represents only one element of the overall experience, while onshore activities are becoming increasingly important in defining the quality of a stay.
The programme is developed across different geographical areas, with content tailored to local characteristics. In Croatia and France, for example, open-air cinema formats are hosted in waterfront settings, while more structured events such as the Port Mondial Festival combine entertainment, sport and family-oriented activities. In Italy, the calendar stands out for a strong presence of sailing events and recurring initiatives throughout the season, from regattas to sailing courses for younger participants, as well as opening and closing season events complemented by live music and cinema programmes.

In Italy, the schedule is particularly extensive, spread across several marinas and covering the entire boating season. At Punta Faro, the programme combines training and sporting activities, including sailing courses for children, with regular wellness sessions such as weekly yoga, and culminates in late-season regattas like the Punta Faro Cup and the Lui & Lei, alongside opening and closing events.
At Aregai and San Lorenzo marinas, the focus is on social gatherings and sailing competitions, with the Trofeo Cozzi Parodi as a key sporting event, supported by summer social activities. Livorno features a more structured programme, combining major sailing events such as the Accademia Navale Regatta and the 151 Miglia with cultural initiatives including the Effetto Venezia Festival and dedicated events for captains.
At Mirabello and Varazze, the programme unfolds through a continuous schedule alternating open-air cinema, live music events and initiatives aimed at both crews and local communities, reinforcing the marina’s role as a connection point between port activity and the surrounding territory.

In the Eastern Mediterranean, the programme continues to integrate nautical and territorial dimensions. In Greece, Lefkas and Gouvia marinas host sporting events, summer cinema and seasonal gatherings, while in Turkey attention focuses on events such as the Bluefin Fishing Tournament, an international sport fishing competition linked to marine research initiatives. In Spain and Malta, the calendar includes end-of-season events and major international appointments such as the Rolex Middle Sea Race and the Malta Boat Show.
The initiative forms part of a broader strategy through which D-Marin is developing a network of marinas with high standards and integrated services. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Athens, the company currently operates 26 marinas in nine countries, offering over 14,000 berths and serving more than 50,000 customers annually, with particular attention to the superyacht segment, supported by dedicated infrastructure and specialised technical services.
In 2023, the group expanded its portfolio with the addition of new marinas and entry into new markets, alongside the development of digital solutions such as the D-Marin App, which allows berth management and real-time monitoring of vessels. In this context, the 2026 events programme represents an operational extension of the strategy, aimed at strengthening the positioning of marinas as multifunctional hubs along the main Mediterranean yachting routes.
