Baglietto launches Marsa Luna, eighth unit of the T52 line with hybrid propulsion
In December, Baglietto launched the eighth unit of its T52 line in La Spezia, named Marsa Luna. The project was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design and the launch took place in the presence of Baglietto’s management and the owner’s representatives, including Kirill Kuatov of NAU Yachts and Aberton Yachts.
Hull number 10253 is the second T52 fitted with an upgraded hybrid propulsion system, developed to allow different operating modes according to efficiency requirements and usage profiles. In electric mode, the yacht can remain at anchor for up to approximately 12 hours using battery power only. In conventional configuration, the two Caterpillar C32 engines provide a top speed of 16 knots and a range of about 4,500 nautical miles.
From an architectural standpoint, this T52 maintains the contemporary layout that characterises the recent evolution of the Baglietto brand, with soft lines and balanced proportions. The design choices prioritise volumes, functionality and onboard livability, with solutions conceived for extended and practical use of the yacht.
The relationship with the sea is expressed through an open stern area hosting a three-level beach club. The swimming pool features a movable bottom with a pop-up system, allowing the usable deck area to be increased when the pool is not in use. On the upper deck, large windows opening on three sides define a protected lounge area suitable for different weather conditions. The sundeck, approximately 24 metres long, remains one of the distinctive elements of the shipyard’s identity.
