It has been an action-packed start to the summer season for Milan-based Nauta with a full schedule of 5 new-build superyacht projects currently under construction from 44 metres up to more than 130 metres.

“It’s certainly the case that we have a lot of irons in the fire,” says Martino Majno, sales & project manager at Nauta. “The fun bit is that they are all very different projects that draw on our expertise and experience as both exterior and interior designers.”

130+m CUSTOM PROJECT

In build in Northern Europe since 2020, this breathtaking project is featuring 2,000 m2 of luxury interiors and 1,000 m2 of exterior social spaces created by Nauta.

“At the moment we can say very little about this particular project beyond that it is in excess of  9000 GT  and construction is already at an advanced stage,”

MOONFLOWER 72

Wider’s 72-metre steel and aluminium motoryacht with both exterior and interior design totalling 1,153 m2 by Nauta, continues apace in the Wider Superyacht Hub in Porto Marghera, Venice, where the metalworks are almost complete. Due for delivery in 2025, the exterior styling reflects Nauta’s trademark preference for clean, uncluttered design without fussy or superfluous detailing.  An exterior highlight includes the studio’s patented ‘Island’ beach club feature.

“Moonflower’s design is pure Nauta,” says Mario Pedol. “Modern yet timeless, she has the onboard liveability and maximum exposure to the marine environment that characterises all Nauta projects.”

PROJECT THUNDERBALL

The 70-metre custom project in build at CRN in Ancona with exterior design by Vripack and 440 m2  of bespoke interiors by Nauta is due for delivery in 2026. The project got under way in back 2018 but was delayed by the Covid outbreak. Restarting last year, it is Nauta’s first collaboration with CRN that has reached the construction stage having already worked with the yard in the past on various concepts.

“The owner’s brief was for a superyacht of timeless beauty, elegant and sophisticated in every detail,” says Guido Valtorta. “He was insistent that it had to be a true yacht and not just a floating palace, so she features details typical of traditional yacht design such as rounded edges for the interior furniture with no sharp corners, blending with a refined contemporary look

FLEXPLORER 146

The 44.5-metre Flexplorer 146 in build at Cantiere delle Marche in Ancona with exterior lines by Hydro Tec and 528 m2 of interior and exterior social spaces by Nauta is due for delivery next year. her timeless, contemporary interior exudes a sense of quiet confidence. Sophisticated yet relaxed, it is perfectly scaled to combine understated style with everyday functionality.

PROJECT MOONLIGHT 44m

Nauta has been selected to design and create the vast 220m2 of luxury interior space onboard Project Moonlight, the third hull in the semi-custom 44-metre motoryacht series by Conrad Yachts in Poland, with exterior design by Reymond Langton.

Thanks to Y.CO’s long-standing relationship with Nauta and the introduction to one of their esteemed clients, an opportunity has been created to deliver a bespoke design that incorporates the Owner’s vision, experience and understanding of family life onboard. Nauta’s lead Architect, Guido Valtorta comments: “the Owners have a very clear objective of creating an interior design that is luxurious and also practical in terms of safety, functionality and maintenance at sea.”
