News and tradition in Düsseldorf for ZAR Formenti

Also this year, ZAR by Formenti is at the International Boat Show in Düsseldorf at the stand 9B04. The visiting public and the faithful “zarists” can appreciate a new product line and several innovations in the product range.

The visiting public and the faithful “zarists” will see the tradition of ZAR meeting the future: three Classic models ( ZAR 43 Classic Luxury – ZAR 53 Classic – ZAR 65 Suite Classic Grey ) get together to several innovations in the product range: glam, colors, and mini are the three key words of this boat show.

For the first time in Germany, ZAR will present the new model ZAR 85 SL/black version. This new R.I.B. is born as flagship of the Sport Luxury Line, which already includes the ZAR 49 SL and the ZAR 59 SL. The project is developed from the consolidated structure of the ZAR 87 which hosts an internal bath cabin, where you can stand comfortably. The same hull is perfectly adapted for the sporting concept, in line with the Sport Luxury series. Even in this new ZAR 85 SL, there is space for a toilet under the console, that can also be transformed into a double bed.

The high performance together with a futuristic and eye-catching design of the deck, make the ZAR 85 SL trendy, ideal for lovers of style and, dare we say, the glamour. The sports-oriented and ergonomic design make the ZAR 85 SL perfectly suited to being a tender for a large yacht, or a primary use boat.

The names of the project team are not new to you. The collaboration of Carlos Vidal (Styling and Deck Development), Francesco Ambrosini (Naval Architecture), Luca Formenti (Technical Project Manager) and Piero Formenti (General Project Manager), makes this new model stand out in its category.

For the same Sport Line, Dusseldorf will host also the ZAR 59 SL, and the smallest and fierce of the line ZAR TENDER: the ZF0 Bollicine that choose new colors to be different: black version with champagne cushions to remember the new ZAR style in just 3.05 of lenght.

One key word more we said: mini, and it is a revolution for ZAR.

In the 2016 season, ZAR Formenti embarked on a new challenge embracing the mini inflatable market, with boats ranging from 2.2 metres up to 5 metres in length. The ZAR mini series consists of 4 different lines, with almost 40 new models. The many options and variations make ZAR mini ideal for every boat owner who wants to combine convenience with quality.

The potentials of the ZARmini make these boats suitable for a wide audience, both as a small tender, and for primary use. A key element of the series is the ease of assembly and storage, which allows to a ZAR mini to be stored in a small space on boats, cars and campers.

Among the ZARmini series, the RIB line with aluminum hull stands out. Available from 2,5 meters up to 5.00 meters, thanks to the lighter hull, this boat can reach high speeds and plane without difficulty even with a low power engine. The larger models have consoles and aluminum lockers and can be equipped with cushions and seats.

With their extensive range of standard equipment, their unmistakable Italian design and with a larger bow than the market average, ZAR mini RIB inflatables represent something unique in their kind.

The boat owner can choose from several versions: from the basic choice V-simple hull to the variant with the flat floor, and the option to add a large bow locker. Thanks to the D rings on the transom, the ZAR mini are suitable for towing water toys and water skiing (models with at least 25 HP engine). Boats in the ZARmini RIB line are also available in CSM rubber fabric (Neoprene/ Hypalon).

The unmistakable Italian design, the incredible variation of models and accessories, and ZAR quality make ZARmini the response to the needs of an increasingly diverse audience.

Five of the more than 40 models will be at the boat show:

ZARmini PRO RIB 16SC in WORDLWIDE PREVIEW in Dusseldorf. This is the Mediterranean version of the already known RIB16 with a smaller console in order to leave space for a larger sunbed and related locker.
