Saim Marine introduces the Mini Controller

The Swedish company enhances its interceptor-based dynamic trim control systems and introduces the Mini Controller. Small, easy to install on board, whether operating automatically or through manual adjustments, its intuitive  and user-friendly interface provides unparalleled ease of use, offering a seamless alternative to MDFs for the boat trim control particularly in challenging  weather conditions. Rugged and waterproof, it features a built-in GPS for enhanced precision.

The brand-new Mini Controller was designed for simpler and safer cruising. The Mini Controller is designed by the Swedish ZIpwake and distributed in Italy by SAIM Marine, the Unit Business of SAIM Group for marine industry.

The Mini Controller implements the interceptor-based dynamic trim control systems, designed for effectively reducing boat pitch and roll, minimizing wave resistance and saving fuel, while significantly enhancing the boat’s performance.

The latest product by Zipwake is the perfect complement to any Zipwake system equipped with the Integrator Module and MFDs, especially when MFDs are installed on deck. The Mini Controller enables a seamless system control for optimum trim without having to reach for a touchscreen. This option is very useful if the helmsman’s fingers are wet, or the weather is rough and touchscreens can sometimes be challenging to operate at sea.

The system can work automatically or through manual adjustments with the user-friendly and intuitive control wheels. When connected to the Integrator Module, the Mini Controller’s built-in GPS enables the trim control system to operate automatically without requiring an external GPS source. For even more convenience, the Mini Controller’s Key Sense can be connected to the engine ignition for automatic system power-on.

Rugged and waterproof, the Mini Controller is designed to withstand harsh marine conditions and can be installed within reach anywhere – from the cockpit of a day cruiser to the flybridge of a yacht.
