Sustainability, Attitude Ocean a project to save the oceans

The first activity of Attitude Ocean was held the afternoon of February 29 along the Lungomare del Poetto. The event, a workshop for the young Cagliari school’s students, organized in collaboration with the environmental organization MEDSEA, closed with a true waste-hunting contest.

Attitude Ocean is a project aimed at raising awareness on the protection of oceans and on the problems deriving from plastic pollution of the marine environment.
This initiative has been developed in the context of participation in the activities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the programme Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development that will start in 2021.

Approaching the America’s Cup World Series in Cagliari, the programme of Attitude Ocean includes another youth workshop in March and a beach clean-up in April. The activities in Cagliari will end on 22 April with a symposium in which experts and specialists will be involved to discuss the issues of pollution and the protection of the oceans.
