Innovative power catamaran builder VISIONF Yachts has successfully completed the first sea trial of its flagship 30.7-metre aluminium catamaran, the VISIONF 101, marking another major milestone for the Turkish shipyard.

The VISIONF 101 delivered outstanding performance during trials in Tuzla Bay. The vessel exceeded speeds of 20 knots, with all onboard systems operating smoothly and reliably under demanding Sea State 4 conditions, 10-knot north-easterly winds, 6°C air temperature and 10°C sea temperature. Fresh water tanks were at 75% capacity, while black and grey water tanks were 100% full, validating performance under real operational loads. Based on data obtained during the sea trials, the catamaran demonstrated a range of over 4,000 nautical miles, positioning the vessel as an exceptional platform for extended voyages in supreme comfort.

Recognised as the world’s first 101-foot RINA commercial-classed catamaran, the yacht is built in aluminium for strength, durability and long-term efficiency. She also features a custom-built carbon fibre hardtop, reducing weight while enhancing structural performance. Propulsion comes from four Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350 engines, delivering powerful performance alongside excellent manoeuvrability.

The VISIONF 101 represents the largest and most luxurious project to date from the shipyard. Designed as a high-volume, long-range power catamaran, she combines contemporary exterior styling with refined, modern interiors defined by calm neutral tones and generous natural light.

Expansive onboard spaces include a vast 132 sqm flybridge, a spacious 103 sqm main saloon and substantial accommodation volumes, all optimised for comfort, privacy and functionality. Thanks to her shallow draft, she is equally suited to coastal cruising and exploring secluded bays.

The yacht features five guest cabins, configured to the owner’s preferences, highlighting VISIONF Yachts’ semi-custom building capability, including a spacious 30 sqm master suite.

Final works are scheduled for completion within the next two months, with delivery to the owner to follow shortly thereafter.
