The new Pirelli 47 maxi-rib makes its debut at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025
In the year of the 20th anniversary of the PIRELLI SPEEDBOATS brand, the iconic maxi-rib range is extended with a new model: the PIRELLI 47. Sacs Tecnorib has chosen to present it to the public at the Cannes Show, Europe's most important nautical event scheduled for 9-14 September. The new model retains the distinctive walkaround that distinguishes the range and provides an unmatched level of versatility, also thanks to the ample hard top.
PIRELLI 47 CHARACTERISTICS
The project is based on the sporty double step hull designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team, famous for its winning hulls in the most important powerboat circuits, standing out for its great seaworthiness, speed and safety qualities.
The high and streamlined tube rises above the water level to eliminate hydrodynamic resistance. It also imparts a streamlined, sporty design and comes into play as a stabilizer during more aggressive turns or in rough sea conditions. Above, there is a completely redesigned deck layout based on versatility.
There is no lack of references to the Pirelli world. Indeed, on the tube strip there is a reproduction of the tread pattern of the CINTURATO Blue Full Wet, a wet tyre used in the top car racing competition in which Pirelli is present as the sole supplier. A tribute to the expertise acquired by Pirelli in the motor sport field and that of "full wet" tyres. The cushions also bear the tyre manufacturer's logo.
A DISTINCTIVE NEW FEATURE FOR THE RANGE
The real star of the new model is the large hard top, which becomes the main new feature of the boat: its clean and elegant lines provide not only great coverage, shade and protection, but also revolutionise the design of the model, providing a brand new and distinctive solution. The perfectly integrated area under the new hard top is designed to be offered in two different versions: fully open to maximise spaciousness and comfort on deck or closed, for long crossings or colder climates. Added to this is the possibility of including a sunroof for even greater comfort and freedom.
SPACE CUSTOMISATION AND VERSATILITY OF USE
This model is a customisable maxi-rib which can be adapted to any owner's needs, from use as a day cruiser to the perfect chase boat.
The deck in the area under the hard top can be customised with a U-shaped sofa facing forward or aft in the open version, while it has an L-shaped sofa in the closed version. The aft area can be configured in different ways: a second sun bed, an additional cabinet, or a single or a double sofa with coffee table can be added.
The PIRELLI 47, with an overall length of 14.75 metres and a width of 4.58 metres, is available with outboard engines for a maximum power of 1275 hp.
Wide passageways and high bulwarks, distinguished by a new design, provide a sense of spaciousness and great freedom of movement along the entire length of the boat.
The helm station can have 2 or 3 in-line, sporty and ergonomic seats for maximum control in all situations.
The key concept of "versatility" also characterises the interior design, which includes a comfortable living area with a coffee table below deck that can be converted into a sleeping area. Spaces below deck and a separate full-height bathroom allow the owner to experience the boat without sacrificing comfort.
The Open version will make its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, with a U-shaped sofa facing aft and a wet bar that also serves as a divider with the aft area, where a spacious sun bed has been installed. The Pirelli 47 will be presented at the show in an outboard version with three 425-hp Mercury V10 engines, for a total output of 1,275 horsepower.
