New Columbus 80 m on track for delivery in spring 2019

Palumbo Superyachts is pleased to announce that the construction of the new Columbus 80 meter superyacht is well underway in Ancona, Italy with the vessel scheduled for delivery to her owner in spring 2019.
The technical and machinery spaces are almost completed, the outfitting of the decks and cabins is quite advanced and the painting is reaching the final coating stage.
The superyacht will be launched using the new Syncrolift with a lift capacity up to 3,300 tons being installed in the Ancona shipyard.
Commissioned by an experienced owner in 2016, the Columbus 80 meter superyacht features a refined and timeless exterior design by Hydrotec and a sophisticated and calming interior décor by Francesco Guida.
Measuring 79.5 meters in length and 13 meters across, Columbus 80 has an internal volume in excess of 2,100 GT.
The two shaft transmission MTU 4000 M63L engines amidships will deliver a top speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 6,000 nm at an eco-speed of 12 knots.
