Numarine delivers second 40MXP superyacht
Numarine, the renowned builder of efficient explorer yachts, has announced the delivery of Mitan, the second hull of its flagship 40MXP series. The new 40-metre superyacht, commissioned by owners from South America, exemplifies Numarine’s refined vision of the “Mediterranean Explorer” concept blending long-range expedition capability with a lifestyle focused on outdoor living and connection to the sea.
The 40MXP stands as a natural evolution of the popular 37XP, extending both in length and luxury. A hallmark of this new design is the expansive aft deck, made possible by extending the hull and moving the saloon’s aft sliding doors slightly forward. This area now hosts a large alfresco dining space, bar, and lounge that wrap around an aft pool with a glass transom, the yacht’s spectacular social centrepiece. The pool connects seamlessly to a vast hydraulic swim platform spanning the yacht’s full 8-metre beam, offering a direct link to the water and the ultimate “beach club” experience.
Unlike the first hull Miouch, Mitan’s exterior and interior colour schemes are completely bespoke, setting her apart. Staying true to the XP ethos, the 40MXP delivers a remarkable 6,000-nautical-mile range at 8 knots, powered by twin MAN 800hp engines, with an optional Tier III-compliant 900hp configuration.
Final 26XP hull sold
Numarine has also confirmed the sale of the final hull in its successful 26XP series, marking the end of production for one of the brand’s most accomplished models. The yacht, currently under construction and set for delivery in 2026, will be the 30th 26XP ever built.
Taking its place in the lineup is the all-new 27XP, unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. With an overall length of 27 metres, the 27XP carries forward the XP design DNA, featuring exterior and interior styling by Can Yalman and naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini. The first 27XP is scheduled to launch in 2026, promising a new era of refined, compact explorer yachts in Numarine’s growing fleet.
Introducing the Numarine Charter Club
In a move to enhance client experience and strengthen the brand ecosystem, Numarine has partnered with Neo Yachting to launch the Numarine Charter Club. This initiative is part of the broader Numarine World vision, bringing every aspect of the Numarine experience under one umbrella, from ownership to charter. Through Neo Yachting, all Numarine charter yachts will be listed and managed centrally, ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and service.
Expanding in Australia and New Zealand
Numarine continues its global expansion with the appointment of Flagship International yacht brokers as its exclusive representative for Australia and New Zealand. The Sydney-based firm, headquartered in Rose Bay, is known for its market expertise and customer satisfaction.
“Representing Numarine here in Australia and New Zealand is an exciting opportunity to work with a manufacturer who understands the importance of utilising innovation and technology to deliver contemporary and elegant expedition yachts without compromising on seaworthiness or quality,” said Marley Cutbush, Managing Director of Flagship International. “This partnership with Numarine is a strategic decision that allows us to offer our clients the best quality yachts on the market, in every segment.”
“We have always been about freedom and connection to the sea and to new horizons, and I feel this spirit is stronger than ever,” said Ömer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine. “Mitan and the 40MXP embody our vision of the modern explorer, luxurious, capable, and connected to the sea. With the new 27XP, our Charter Club, and global partnerships, Numarine is entering an exciting new era of adventure and innovation.”
