The world leader in cruising trimarans, Neel-Trimarans, is happy and proud to have Yannick Bestaven, daring and talented sailor, winner of the 2020-2021 Vendée Globe on board
his IMOCA Maitre Coq, as godfather for its latest boat, the Neel 43.

On Thursday 8th April 2021, Yannick Bestaven, after sailing on board the Neel 43, off La Rochelle, went to greet all the 120 employees individually in the workshops and offices of the shipyard in La Rochelle, before breaking the traditional bottle of champagne on board a Neel 43, fresh off the production line.

In top-level sport, reputation is built by winning awards and by having the right attitude…win with grace. The Neel-Trimarans teams were bowled over by Yannick Bestaven's
availability and kindness and were very touched by his interest in Neel trimarans.

Yannick Bestaven : "The whole range of Neel trimarans is superb, just like its designer Eric Bruneel, whom I appreciate very much. The Neel 43, the latest model, of which I am the happy godfather today, has all the assets of its predecessors. A beautiful boat on which it will be good to live, like at home! I can already see myself on board during my next cruises! Thank you to the shipyard and all the production teams. I am very proud to represent your know-how.
