Ferretti Group confirms its leadership: nine premieres at the Cannes Yachting Festival
The Mediterranean boat show season gets underway and Ferretti Group showcases a whole host of major new developments, while economic data reveals continued growth. The Group is presenting a total of 26 boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival, including six world premieres for the Ferretti Yachts, Itama, Riva and Wally brands, joined by Ferretti Yachts 940 and Pershing GTX70, which were unveiled at the last Venice Boat Show.
The Group’s usual press conference was held this morning, on opening day at the French boat show – one of the most prestigious events in international yachting – which runs until September 14. “In moments that matter, like Cannes, Ferretti Group delivers substance and talent: nine wonderful premieres showcasing the people who work with us and the extent of our industrial capacity,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “Numbers, passion and competence are also behind our financial solidity. and with zero debt we’re in the ideal position to continue growing. We design and build boats that are unique in the world, and we have a responsibility to keep creating more beauty and innovation.
The market and our owners appreciate this determination and continue to reward us.” There was a high concentration of Riva boats in the fleet of premieres, not least Aquariva Special, after 300 unities, an evolution of the iconic runabout with new stylistic details and functions designed to offer an even more authentic cruising experience. Also eagerly awaited, Riva Cento is the exclusive limited edition of the Rivamare model, which introduces new on-board solutions designed to enhance comfort and liveability.

And welcoming visitors at the entrance to the show is a Riva El Iseo, the first electric model built by the Sarnico-based shipyard, combining timeless class and sustainability. The stand-out at the show for the Ferretti Yachts brand is Ferretti Yachts 800, the elegant flybridge yacht with optimised spaces, designed for immersive cruising thanks to panoramic views and a layout offering maximum privacy.
Itama 54, on the other hand, reflects the authentically sporty and timeless spirit animating the Itama brand, with pared-down lines and generous living spaces for total cruising freedom. The last two premieres are the models unveiled in spring at the Venice Boat Show: the generously sized and exquisitely refined Ferretti Yachts 940 widebody yacht, a true home on the sea featuring sophisticated design and huge glazed surfaces, and the compact and dynamic Pershing GTX70 sport utility yacht, the new star of the GTX line, which combines performance, liveability and unprecedented continuity between outdoor and indoor spaces.
