Pisa, Navicelli District, March 24TH 2021 - Construction on the first unit in the Falcon Yachts Legacy line, a 40m yacht designed by Turin’s Quartostile studio, has begun. Delivery is scheduled for February 2022

“Our objective was clear from the start: to turn heads without shouting,” says Franco Carone, co-founder of Quartostile. “We reached goal our by using pared-down lines to achieve a timeless elegance that is distinctive and yet vigorous. This was not an exercise in style, we designed every detail on the basis of its function to achieve an on board living experience that combines pleasure with harmony. The Legacy line delivers in every way, from visual appeal to build quality, from comfort to efficiency on the water”.

Falcon Legacy 40m hull was designed for a sporty owner who loves to spend quality time with friends and family. Thanks also to his enthusiastic input, the Legacy 40m’s exterior design has a slender yet muscular bow that slices through the water like a falcon’s beak slices through the air. The yacht’s aft section is curved to recall a torpedo and the transom opens to become a swimming platform with a beach club.

The Falcon Legacy 40m has large and versatile outdoor deck spaces and plenty of spacious cabins. The Main Deck has a large aft cockpit with a bar and dining area shaded by the overhang. Proceeding indoors, the saloon gets excellent natural light and views through floor to ceiling windows. Lounging and dining areas are serviced by an adjacent galley. The full beam owners suite on the main deck has ample storage space, a centrally placed bed and his and hers bathrooms.

The upper deck has a spectacularly large aft area with a huge sunpad that can also be used as a couch. The sky lounge has a large up/down viewing screen and the bridge is set up so that both guests and crew can experience the joy of helming the yacht. The foredeck lounging area is also an excellent spot for enjoying the air and views and will be equipped with a spa pool. Storage and a launching crane for a jet ski are also on the foredeck.

Lower deck accommodation includes a full beam VIP cabin, two twin cabins, a double and a single. All cabins are en-suite. The crew quarters can accommodate five to assure a luxurious on board living experience.

The garage is fore of the engine room and a 6 m. tender can be launched through a side-opening shell door. The transom opens to become a large swimming platform and the beach club can also be set up as a gym.

“We wish to thank Quartostile for interpreting the owner’s brief so skilfully and giving it body with the new 40m Legacy line,” says Falcon Yachts’ Commercial Office. “Their design expresses the owner’s desires and the harmonious relationship that has developed between the shipyard, the Owner, and Quartostile. We are excited to have begun this build: the yacht’s bronze livery combined with glazed surfaces that run from bow to stern give the yacht a modern and aggressive look, while practical and well-engineered details such as the hidden tender garage and opening transom make this an elegant and innovative 40m yacht”.
