New travel lift for Esaom Shipyards

The development and growth of Esaom Cesa SpA continues, a company operating in the shipbuilding industry based in Portoferraio - Elba Island.

After the purchase and testing in 2022 of one of the largest travel-lift operating in Europe, an MBH 880 t. to safely wing super yachts up to 65 meters long, the company announces the arrival of a new MBH 240 t. travel-lift for the hauling of yachts up to 35 meters. Draft of an important new dowel in the distance of expansion of the ship yard that renews therefore own lifting means with one of the companies leader of the field: the Italian Cimolai Technology.

The operation is inserted in a wider plan of development that goes to create new and important opportunities for the Elba Island and Portoferraio, tied to the development of the nautical one, a field in continuous increase and evolution, of great value for a territory that must make the most of its insularity as a strong point. The project of renovation of the structures of the yard, will also see the improvement of infrastructure, the reduction of environmental impact and the utmost attention to the safety of workers operating the site.
