Deutsche Yachten welcomes Yachtglass GmbH, professionals in glass

Deutsche Yachten welcomes a new member to its ranks: Yachtglass GmbH specialises in glass systems for luxury yachts and has been supplying customers from all over the world for over 20 years.

Glass is a very important issue on the largest yachts in the world. Many owners want a light-flooded interior and the clearest possible view of the sea. A specialist in this segment has now become a member of Deutsche Yachten AG, the working group of the DBSV (Deutscher Boots- und Schiffsbauer-Verband).

Yachtglass, based in Dersum, Lower Saxony, has been active in the superyacht segment since 2001. The 20-strong company regularly equips yachts of over 100 metres in total length with high-quality glass systems. And there is more: according to the so-called total management concept, Yachtglass not only takes care of the glass production, but also the measurement, assembly as well as the cooperation with the classification societies. Annual service and maintenance work on board are also part of the company's core competencies. In addition, the glass specialist offers to take over any planning work, on-site implementation and project and construction management.

As a subsidiary of the Hero Group - an amalgamation of several companies from the field of glass finishing - Yachtglass benefits from a strong carrier and from the synergies resulting from the close cooperation with the sister companies within the Hero Group. This ensures the greatest possible efficiency and guaranteed quality, but also a certain security for the customer. Both the world's leading shipyards and the smaller shipbuilders who are Yachtglass' customers know that it is the customer who ultimately benefits from this merger.
