Lusben, the Refit Division of the Azimut|Benetti Group, is preparing for its debut at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, a key event for yachts up to 50 meters, taking place from September 9–14, and its now well-established participation in the Monaco Yacht Show, scheduled from September 24–27.

The participation in Cannes further consolidates the brand’s positioning in the motor and sailing yacht segments, forming part of a broader international expansion strategy. This plan began in July this year with the opening of a new commercial office in Antibes, at the heart of the French Riviera. This strategic move provides an operational and relationship-based contact point for both new and long-standing owners, captains, and industry professionals in one of the most dynamic and connected hubs along the Mediterranean coast.

Over the past four years, Lusben has recorded consistent growth, confirming the soundness of a long-term strategy based on targeted investments, organizational development, and infrastructural expansion. This trajectory reflects the increasingly central role of the refit sector, driven by the growth of the global fleet and a rising focus on customization, maintenance, and enhancement of existing yachts.

In this context, 2025 marks a major evolution: Benetti’s after-sales service officially becomes part of the Lusben universe with the launch of Benetti Lifetime Care. Born from Benetti’s construction excellence and enhanced by Lusben’s technical and management expertise, this program introduces a new perspective on the yacht lifecycle. It integrates maintenance, system upgrades, and refit work into a single framework, based on planning, traceability, and technical coordination. The aim is not just to ensure the yacht’s operational efficiency, but also to support its long-term evolution with timely interventions that respect the original identity and comply with current regulations and industry standards.

“Refit is a segment showing structured and resilient growth. In this context, Lusben positions itself as a benchmark for those seeking high-level technical and management solutions. Today, we are capable of guiding clients through the entire yacht lifecycle, including multiple exterior and interior upgrades, regardless of vessel size,”
comments Ferdinando Pilli, General Manager of Lusben.

2025 also marks the culmination of a major investment plan for the Livorno site. The redevelopment work, started in 2023, has resulted in a completely revamped facility covering 220,000 square meters of land and water surface. Livorno can now accommodate three yachts over 100 meters on land simultaneously, supported by enhanced berthing capacity and some of the most advanced equipment in the industry, including a 2,400-ton synchro-lift and a 180-meter floating dock.

A standout feature is the 8.5-meter-deep keel pit, the largest in the Mediterranean, designed to work on sailing yachts with canting keels up to 70 meters in length. Thanks to these capabilities, Lusben has recently welcomed some of the most prestigious sailing yachts on the water, including Jasali II, Croce del Sud, Pure, Seven, La Luna, Mare Nostrum, and Roshearty.

At the same time, Lusben is also developing a new crew and executive services hub in Livorno. This will include a lounge and dedicated areas, enhancing the experience for those who work onboard daily.

The Viareggio yard is also undergoing an infrastructural upgrade. The introduction of a new 720-ton travel lift will expand the site’s operational capacity. Viareggio remains a key reference point for yachts up to 50 meters, with particular specialization in fiberglass construction, offering advanced technical expertise, rapid services, and continuous attention to quality.
