Marlow Ropes joins SailGP as Official Supplier through 2027

SailGP, the most exciting racing on water, today announced a new global partnership with leading British manufacturer Marlow Ropes, who joins the championship as the Official Rope Supplier through the end of the 2027 Season.

The partnership brings together the most exciting racing on water and a world-leading manufacturer whose ropes are trusted across every level of the sport of sailing – from grassroots programs to elite high-performance competition.

Marlow Ropes will also play a role in select SailGP Inspire the Next Generation programs, the league’s global youth education program designed to spark a lifelong passion for foiling while igniting curiosity around science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Marlow Ropes’ splicing and rope technology will introduce young learners to the technical skills behind the sport of sailing.

The partnership will also extend to SailGP’s fan experience, with Marlow Ropes delivering Race Stadium activations across the season, offering hands-on workshops where fans can learn the same technical rope skills used in professional sail racing.
