After many months of efforts from all members of the team, the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC) is pleased to announce a new website has been launched this week to highlight all aspects of the system in a new, bold and innovative way.

The new site is at the same URL (www.orc.org) and presents all the features and functionalities of the ORC system in a new organized manner, based on the fundamental principle #TheEqualChanceToWin. This refers to how the ORC system can rate nearly every kind of boat in a scientific and unbiased manner to create fair ratings, thus giving all boats an equal chance to win on the race course.

The new site has five new broad categories - ORC Rating Systems, Sailors, Race Management, Designers and Measurements - while also allowing fast access to common website use - ORC Sailor Services, access to active ORC certificates in the database, and pathways to applying for and receiving an ORC certificate.

There is also a News section on the Home page about current and upcoming ORC events around the world, a Race Calendar of events, and informative articles on how the ORC system works to create great racing.

The new site is also mobile-friendly and has many new photos and video content.

"We thank ORC for giving us the trust to help them with this project," said Mathias Friis from DAYTWO. "We are proud to work with an amazing team in the global sailing community, where DAYTWO has been responsible for development, design and branding. In strong competition with several international technology companies, we won the job of rebranding, designing and solving the technical platform for ORC. This meant getting to grips with a complex world of measurement, rules and certificates and where the products and services are used in 45 countries, and 32 different offices with the goal that everyone should be able to compete fairly."

"With help from all members of our staff, the Communications team has done an outstanding job with this long and very complex project,” said ORC Chairman Bruno Finzi. “We hope this initiative will make our system more approachable and easier to understand, both for the newcomers to ORC and those who have used and known us for many years. We invite all to have a look at www.orc.org.
