The Moth 2022 World Championship, organized by the Yacht Club Argentino at its headquarters in Dársena Norte, came to an end. It was a challenging event: conditions weren’t always easy, but we managed to have thirteen fair races that gave us new champions.

On the sixth and last day, three races were completed.

In the first race, 8 knots were blowing from the NE sector. Massimo Contessi won this race.
As the day went on, the wind shifted to the east and reduced its intensity. The Italian Francesco Bruni won the last two races and took the title of Master World Champion.

After thirteen races, british Dylan Fletcher Scott was crowned World Champion in the Moth 2022 Class, with a total of seventeen points. Argentina’s Massimo Contessi came in second place with twenty-seven points and also received the title of Junior World Champion. Completing the podium was Italy’s Simone Salva, with thirty-six points.

Helena Scutt was crowned Female World Champion.

The top ten is completed by the following sailors:
4th Brad Funk | USA
5th Richard Didham | USA
6° Francesco Bruni | ITA
7° Robert Greenhalgh | AUS
8° Harry Melgues | USA
9° Enzo Balanger | FRA
