Heavy rain didn't dampen spirits as sailors secured Olympic spots on the final day of the Last Chance Regatta!

The 49er skiff racing witnessed tight competition, with teams from Germany, Belgium, and Brazil securing their spots at the Olympics before the medal race. Hong Kong, China claimed the final qualification spot as developing nation, following an impressive performance by Akira Sakai and Russell Aylsworth.

Meanwhile, Poland secured a place in Paris 2024 thanks to 🇵🇱 Aleksandra Melzacka and Sandra Jankowiak's dominant performance in the women’s skiff competition. The battle for the remaining spots was close to completed on the day before the medal race, with Poland, Finland, Czech, and Japan securing their positions early. In a nail-biting medal race, Germany clinched the third country ticket!

In the Nacra 17 Mixed Multihull event, Belgium and Japan secured the last two Olympic qualifying spots. The Danish pair, Natacha Violet Saouma-Pedersen and Mathias Bruun Borreskov, emerged victorious, while Turkey's Alican Kaynar and Beste Kaynakçi secured second place, both also earning an Olympic ticket one day ahead of the medal race.
