Jeanneau launches EX range, EX 34 debuts at Cannes

Jeanneau has introduced EX, a motor boat range that sits alongside Cap Camarat, Merry Fisher, TH and DB Yachts. The first model, the EX 34, is on show in Hardtop version at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026.

The name, which the builder says is pronounced "E-X", stands for Elements and Crossplatform. The range is not derived from an existing line: it has a deep-V hull drawn for this project. The stated approach centres on how the boat is actually used, with a standard configuration set up for navigation and options grouped by type of use rather than listed at length. Jeanneau says the price point is meant to remain accessible and that a boat specified with options involves no compromise against the standard version.

The EX 34 measures 10.40 metres overall, rising to 10.66 metres with options, with a hull length of 9.95 metres and an overall beam of 3.27 metres. Power comes from twin outboards, with a maximum rating of 2x350 hp, or 2x258 kW. Fuel is carried in two 300-litre tanks and fresh water in a 100-litre tank. The provisional specification lists four berths, two cabins and CE category B-8 / C-10, currently in progress. The design is credited to Jeanneau Design and Centkowski & Denert Design.

Both versions share the same deck platform and the same five-space layout: aft platforms, aft cockpit, central saloon, helm station and forward lounge. The saloon converts and includes the galley, sheltered under the roof. Below deck there are two cabins and a separate head.

The EX 34 Hardtop has an open aft cockpit arranged around a sunpad, with a quick-deploy soft enclosure for shelter when conditions change. The EX 34 Cabin has a fully glazed rigid wheelhouse with a large sliding bay window and can be fitted with air conditioning or heating; the helm station converts into an interior lounge.
