Former Chairman and Former Vice Chairman of The Italian Sea Group respond to Statements by Giovanni Costantino

Following the statements made by The Italian Sea Group’s founder and controlling shareholder, Giovanni Costantino, published by PressMare in an interview with our publication last Tuesday, as well as by several national and local media outlets, we have received and are publishing in full the response from the Company’s former Chairman and former Vice Chairman.

“With reference to the statements made by The Italian Sea Group’s CEO, Giovanni Costantino, to national and local media outlets, the Company’s former Chairman and former Vice Chairman firmly reject both the account of events and the responsibilities attributed to them.

Following our voluntary resignations for just cause, we promptly cooperated with the competent authorities, including by filing the necessary complaints and undertaking further actions to protect our rights.

We have no intention of fuelling a media dispute, confident that the competent authorities will establish the true circumstances surrounding the management of the Group over recent years.”
