Galvanic Works opens pre-orders for Galvanic Voice alert system

Galvanic Works, a marine IoT company based in Llubí, Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), opened pre-orders on 27 May 2026 for Galvanic Voice, a voice alert system for cruising sailors.

The device combines AIS collision avoidance, automatic man-overboard detection, anchor watch, crew watch scheduling and onboard systems monitoring in a single unit. According to the company, the system can speak more than 500 contextual alerts in five languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian and German), telling the crew what is happening and what action to take.

The listed price is €950 excluding VAT, with no subscription. Delivery is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Natalie Smith, founder and CCO of Galvanic Works, said: "Every sailor knows the problem. Your boat has a dozen alarms that all sound the same. At 3 a.m. you can't tell if it's critical or not. So you either ignore it or go out into the cockpit to check: neither is a safe choice."

AIS collision avoidance: approaching vessels are announced with bearing, distance and time to collision.
Automatic man-overboard detection: detection within ten seconds via the included Galvanic Pulse wristbands, with no button to press, and bearing and distance announced aloud.

Crew watch scheduling: schedules adapted to sleep, with fatigue-related checks.
Onboard systems monitoring: batteries, bilge, depth sounder and autopilot announced when needed.

Galvanic Voice is available for pre-order at galvanicworks.com/galvanic-voice. Orders placed during the launch window include six Galvanic Pulse crew wristbands at no extra cost: two as standard plus four more during the pre-order period.
