Solaris Power 64, new 19.70-metre flybridge
Solaris Power introduces the 64: flybridge with deep-V bow, Volvo IPS propulsion and up to four cabins
Solaris Power has presented the new Power 64, a flybridge measuring 19.70 metres overall (17.80 m hull length) with a maximum beam of 5.62 metres and a draft of 1.75 metres. The project is by Dragoni Design Lab, 3 Studio and the Solaris Power Design Team.
Standard propulsion consists of twin Volvo Penta D13 engines with IPS 1200 drives rated at 900 hp (662 kW), for a top speed of 26 knots. An optional configuration with Volvo Penta D13 and IPS 1350 at 1,000 hp (735 kW) raises the top speed to 28 knots. Cruising speed is listed at 18 knots. Tank capacities are 3,400 litres of fuel and 710 litres of fresh water. Displacement is 36,000 kg light and 44,000 kg at full load. Maximum capacity is 18 persons.
The hull features a deep, flared bow with a convex cross-section. According to the yard, this configuration delivers a smooth ride through waves and keeps the deck dry. Solaris Power also states that the hull provides stability both underway and at anchor without the need for gyroscopic stabilisers, and that the waterlines, paired with the IPS transmission, deliver low fuel consumption. The hull is designed to track without roll in both planing and displacement modes.
The exterior layout starts at the aft cockpit, with customisable sofa and sunpad arrangements. The stern beach area includes a platform that can be used in both raised and semi-submerged positions. The stern garage accommodates a 3.45-metre tender stored longitudinally, with additional space for water toys. Side walkways measure 70 cm wide with an average bulwark height of 75 cm. Forward, a lounge features two opposing horseshoe-shaped sofas with two connecting tables. The flybridge includes a sofa, sunpads and a dining table.
The indoor dinette is characterised by large fully opening glazed surfaces, with a galley and relaxation area. Below deck, the standard layout provides three cabins and three bathrooms, with the option of a fourth cabin and fourth bathroom, plus a crew cabin with dedicated bathroom.
