With the approach of the spring season, Overmarine Group starts its production activity with two new launches within a few days, confirming the operational pace of the Mangusta brand and the continuity of demand across international markets.

The first launch took place on March 17 in Pisa, where the fourth unit of the Mangusta GranSport 54, the flagship of the shipyard’s fast displacement line, was launched. Built in aluminium at the group’s Tuscan facilities, the 54-metre yacht is positioned as a design platform capable of combining range and performance, offering up to 4,200 nautical miles at 12 knots and a top speed of 29 knots, powered by four 2,600 hp Rolls-Royce MTU engines paired with four shaft lines.

The project is the result of collaboration between the shipyard’s engineering department, engineer Ausonio and Alberto Mancini. The outcome is a yacht defined by a stylistic approach that blends sporty elements with more refined design solutions, with particular attention to aerodynamic lines, integrated air intakes and an inclined windscreen incorporated into the rollbar.

At the stern, the configuration with a central hatch and side openings allows for a multi-level beach club, featuring side terraces and dedicated relaxation areas. The interiors are designed with a strong connection to the exterior, thanks to extensive glazing and a layout that enhances visual continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.

As with all Mangusta units, this yacht has been developed with a high degree of customisation: one of the guest cabins has been converted into a wellness area equipped for treatments and massages. The unit will be delivered to its owner, already a Mangusta client, in time for the upcoming summer season.

A few days later, on March 20 in Viareggio, the tenth Mangusta 104 REV, entry-level model of the Maxi Open range, was launched. The yacht is powered by two 2,600 hp Rolls-Royce MTU engines combined with Kongsberg-Kamewa waterjets, enabling a top speed of 35 knots with an optimised consumption profile.

The project, developed by the shipyard’s technical office together with Lobanov Design for the exterior lines, stands out for its sporty silhouette and extensive use of glazing integrated into the profile to maximise natural light and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

This continuity is further enhanced by the fully opening stern door, which expands the perception of space and contributes to a more fluid onboard living experience. The interiors, developed by Overmarine’s design team together with architect Francesco Bortolato (Nembo Design), maintain a standard configuration enriched by bespoke solutions. Delivery is scheduled for early May.
