On Thursday 5 March, the fifth unit of the Mangusta Oceano 39 was launched in Viareggio, further expanding the Mangusta Oceano displacement line. The new yacht confirms the growing presence of the series on major international markets.

The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a three-deck displacement yacht developed by the shipyard’s Technical Department in collaboration with designer Alberto Mancini, who created the exterior lines. The newly launched yacht was commissioned by an experienced owner with a strong passion for yachting, who entrusted the interior design to M2Atelier.

According to Nicolò Strocco, Mangusta Sales Manager who oversaw the sale of the unit, the Mangusta Oceano 39 represents a yacht with timeless appeal, conceived with meticulous attention to detail and designed to offer the characteristics and onboard experience of a much larger vessel.

With a gross tonnage of approximately 330 GT, the yacht stands out for an architectural approach centred on maintaining a continuous relationship with the sea. The clean and contemporary exterior lines are complemented by design solutions that enhance openness towards the outside, including glass bulwarks on the upper deck, which amplify the perception of space and natural light.

Large full-height windows, partially opening, create continuity between indoor and outdoor areas, a defining feature of the Mangusta Oceano series.

Among the distinctive design elements of the model are the stern beach house with side terraces at water level and the forward infinity pool with a partially glass bottom, features that are now part of the Mangusta Design Features adopted across the range.

From a propulsion standpoint, the fifth Mangusta Oceano 39 is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated at 2,600 HP at 2,450 rpm, enabling the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
