The Napoli Boat Show was officially presented this morning at the Reggia di Quisisana, marking the launch of a new trade fair dedicated to recreational boating, scheduled from March 18 to 22, 2026 at Marina di Stabia. The choice of venue for the press conference – the historic residence overlooking the Gulf of Naples and now home to the Stabia Libero D’Orsi Archaeological Museum – reflects the organizers’ focus on quality, territorial identity and enhancement of local heritage.

The show positions itself as the first “Boutique Boat Show” strategically located in the Mediterranean, with a format centered on real navigation: all boats will be moored in the water and ready for sea trials, available by direct appointment with exhibitors. Within this framework, the Gulf of Naples – with the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrentine Peninsula, Capri and Ischia – becomes an integral part of the exhibition experience, offering ideal conditions to test yacht performance.

Among the announced brands are Riva, Rizzardi and Azimut Yachts – with yachts up to 27 meters set to serve as the show’s flagships – alongside Cayman, Cranchi, Saxdor, Airon Marine, G Tender, P Yachts, Nautica Salpa, Prestige, Nautica Esposito, FIM, Menorquin, De Antonio, Sacs, Pirelli and Mig for the motor segment. In the sailing sector, Lagoon and Jeanneau are expected, with additional brands to be confirmed.

A format focused on quality and organizational solidity

Fabio Piantedosi, founder and president of the Napoli Boat Show, emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance Italian yacht production, with particular attention to the excellence expressed by Campania. The event has been conceived as a functional exhibition platform designed to facilitate onboard visits and sea trials, adopting a measured approach for this first edition, prioritizing quality, safety and organizational reliability.

Marina di Stabia, identified as a strategic choice, represents one of Europe’s most significant nautical infrastructures, designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas. It features in-water berths, a 60,000-square-meter dry area and the capacity to accommodate megayachts up to 90 meters, as well as dedicated spaces for B2B meetings, product presentations and networking.

Institutional and industry support

Among those attending the presentation were the Mayor of Castellammare di Stabia Luigi Vicinanza, the Commander of the Harbour Master’s Office Andrea Pellegrino, the CEO of Marina di Stabia Salvatore La Mura and Metropolitan Councilor Giuseppe Gargiulo, representing the Mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi.

Commander Pellegrino highlighted Castellammare’s historic vocation for port activities and shipbuilding, underlining the Coast Guard’s role in navigation safety, marine habitat protection and awareness initiatives, including projects that have involved over 5,000 students.

Councilor Gargiulo focused on the economic value of the initiative, describing it as a growth driver for entrepreneurs, craftsmen, technicians and skilled workers within the nautical supply chain, also highlighting attention to ecological transition through electric and hybrid solutions, new materials and innovative startups.

Mayor Vicinanza recalled Castellammare di Stabia’s shipbuilding tradition, where the Amerigo Vespucci was launched, noting that the show represents an opportunity to strengthen the city’s role within the national and international boating landscape and to promote its historical, cultural and environmental heritage.

An integrated logistical and territorial context

Castellammare di Stabia enjoys a strategic location near Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast, with Sorrento, Capri and Ischia reachable within minutes by sea. The proximity to Naples International Airport completes a favorable logistical framework for international exhibitors and visitors.

The Napoli Boat Show will open to the public from March 18 to 22, 2026 (10:00 am – 6:30 pm). Admission will be ticketed, consistent with the organizers’ intention to attract a highly profiled audience genuinely interested in the nautical sector.

With this first edition, the Napoli Boat Show positions itself as a new Mediterranean exhibition platform, focused on real on-water experience, dialogue between shipyards, dealers and owners, and the integration of exhibition offering with territorial enhancement.
