Baglietto opens 2026 with the sale of the fifth Vafiadis-designed DOM115

Superyacht

Baglietto starts 2026 with its first order of the year: the fifth unit of the DOM115, the entry model in the DOM displacement line designed by Stefano Vafiadis. The contract, identified as hull no. 10280, was finalized with the support of broker Marc Haendle of Camper & Nicholsons and provides for delivery in 2028. The first DOM115 in the series was sold in September 2023.

This latest sale follows two DOM115 orders secured during 2025 and confirms the model’s commercial continuity. The yard positions it as the entry level of its displacement range, while maintaining volume and customization features typically found on larger yachts.

Built in steel and aluminium, the DOM115 sits in the 35-meter segment and targets owners looking for a contemporary cruising yacht with generous spaces and a highly configurable layout. The platform adopts the key styling features of the DOM family — soft lines, extensive glazing and a strong connection between interior and exterior areas — already developed on the larger DOM133, which has reached 12 units sold worldwide.

Key design elements include the main deck saloon with full-height openings and retractable doors to ensure visual continuity with the exterior, and the main and upper decks glazed and openable on three sides. Aft, the beach area is arranged on stepped levels down to the water and includes an infinity pool. The side tender garage keeps the stern area clear and preserves the cleanliness of the layout. Interiors are fully custom, developed around the owner’s requirements.

Standard propulsion is based on two MAN V8-1200 engines, with a stated cruising speed of 13 knots. A hybrid configuration is available on request, in line with the technical options already adopted by the yard on other displacement platforms.
