Hot Lab unveils 47m Superyacht Acqua Chiara
Hot Lab, a Milan-based studio within the Viken Group, has introduced the 47-meter superyacht Acqua Chiara, developed in collaboration with Columbus Yachts. Delivered in 2025, this vessel is designed for charter and managed by Fraser Yachts.
Acqua Chiara is the third yacht in the Atlantique line, showcasing a design that extends the original 43-meter platform to 47 meters, enhancing its proportions and onboard balance. Despite the increase in length, it remains within a 499 GT envelope.
The yacht's exterior lines are crafted by Hot Lab, while Columbus Yachts is responsible for the naval architecture. The design philosophy draws inspiration from sailing, with stern lines as a defining feature. The aft spaces are organized across three levels, emphasizing liveability and a connection with the sea.
From bow to stern, Acqua Chiara includes a covered dining area, a central lounge with a pool, and fold-down balconies. A flexible platform with a transformer is positioned 50 centimeters above the waterline, enhancing the yacht's functionality.
Acqua Chiara has completed a busy first season in the Mediterranean, reflecting its appeal and functionality. The yacht was delivered to an Italian entrepreneur, who directed the lengthening of the vessel to achieve its current design.
The yacht's design maintains the distinctive pattern of the Atlantique line, despite its additional length. This approach ensures a balance between elegance and practicality, making it a notable addition to the superyacht market.
