COSMOS, 114-metre superyacht launched by Lürssen

On 9 August 2025, Lürssen launched COSMOS, a 114.2-metre yacht designed for long-range cruising and light polar conditions (Ice Class 1D). The hull, developed in-house, features exterior and interior design by Marc Newson, who oversaw the entire project from overall lines to interior detailing.

A notable feature is the owner’s private study with a glass dome and adjoining sky terrace. The design required the development of a custom glass-bending technology to achieve large, flawless panels providing 360° visibility.

The upper deck has a continuous glass band, with a forward observation lounge below the helipad and an aft balcony overlooking the main deck. The aft main deck combines leisure and functionality, featuring a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and a dry dock with sledge-launch system for the main tender.

COSMOS spans six decks and includes an experimental methanol fuel cell installation, producing hydrogen for electricity generation.
