F.lli Razeto & Casareto: an award for the Most Innovative Yacht in Cannes
They are feeling pretty happy in Amer Yachts, a brand owned by Permare of Sanremo, after winning a World Yachts Trophy for the second year running in the gorgeous surrounds of the Croisette at Cannes. This time the judges from Yacht France magazine named the Amer 110 "Most Innovative Yacht" in the 85’-125’ motoryacht category. The craft in question is the "Volvo Penta IPS Quad" version debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017. Stretching 32.5 metres LOA, the Amer 110 Unique is powered by a propulsion system comprising four IPS 1200 pods and four Volvo Penta engines. This is an unusual set-up never previously adopted on such a large yacht but guarantees the kind of overall performance that a yacht with traditional lines and conventional engines of the same size would find hard to match: speed, evolutionary qualities, fuel consumption, noise and vibration damping, etc. are all far superior.
PerMare owner Barbara Amerio thanked the Yacht France jury for this latest award (last year the Amer 100 Quad won) and also Volvo Penta for its technical collaboration and both engines and IPS, before presenting the owner of Unique with a gift that would add an extra flourish of exclusivity to his yacht. She chose the luxury Eclectic Liberty handle which is a new take on an original design by Giangi Razeto by artist Rosanna Siciliano and made by F.lli Razeto & Casareto. A unique item of great artistic value that is part of the Tribute to Sicily collection on display at the F.lli Razeto & Casareto stand at the Genoa International Boat Show 2017 between today and September 26. A truly luxurious handle that the owner expressed his delight at receiving:
