Shipyard Supply launch superyacht Padel Court

This pioneering project was at the request of an owner with a 110-metresuperyacht currently in build. It marks a significant milestone in luxury yacht amenities, offering owners and guests a unique sporting experience at sea.

Unlike traditional courts, SSCo’sPadel Court structure is free-standing, eliminating the necessity for fitted deck sockets and poles. This allows for application on almost any helideck, expanding accessibility to operational yachts that cannot accommodate additional sockets.The design not only maximises space but also makes the court adaptable to differing yacht configurations.

Padel, a fusion of tennis and squash, has been rapidly gaining popularity worldwide. Always on the lookout for new concepts, SSCo. identified the value of bringing this exciting new sport to the decks of superyachts. The court can also be adapted for various other sports such as squash or racketball.

SSCo’sPadel Court is crafted from carbon and features an innovative design utilisingPlexiglass and mesh panels. This construction ensures durability and performance while maintaining a lightweight structure. The Court is easy to assemble and pack down, and its flat modular panels make it easy to store.
