2017 promises to be an important year for Perini Navi, the Italian shipyard renowned for the design and build of superyachts.  The company's 2017 calendar includes a selection of the most prestigious events, regattas and boats shows around the world.

Following on from last week’s Superyacht Design Awards, where the Perini Navi 70M S/Y Sybaris took top accolades, next on the Perini Navi calendar is the spectacular St Barths Bucket Regatta from 16-19 March.  More than 40 superyachts, all over 100ft in length, will gather for three unforgettable days of racing and socialising shoreside.  This edition marks the 30th anniversary of the Bucket Regatta, of which Perini Navi is a Steward.  Among the fleet will be eight Perini Navi yachts, including last year’s winner the 38M S/Y P2.

A founding partner of Nautica Italiana, Perini Navi will take part in the inaugural Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous in Viareggio from 11-14 May.  The event will have the full support of Perini Navi and encircle the company’s extensive waterfront facilities.

While in June, the Louis Vuitton Challenger Series and 35th America’s Cup will take place, drawing several Perini Navi owners to the pristine island of Bermuda to take in this amazing spectacle.  With an extensive programme dedicated to superyachts, including facilities and a bespoke regatta, it promises not to disappoint.

Given that close to ten Perini Navi yachts are anticipated to attend the 35th America’s Cup, the next edition of the much anticipated Perini Navi Cup will take place in summer 2018 (rather than 2017), when the majority of the fleet of will be back in the Mediterranean. It is anticipated that close to 20 Perini Navi yachts will grace to the clear waters of the Costa Smeralda for the 7th edition of this magnificent event hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda
