After a combined 55 years at the forefront of the industry, luxury outfitters Kevin Glancy Ltd and Jonathan Fawcett Ltd have united as one, creating GlancyFawcett Ltd. The newly-formed GlancyFawcett brand was unveiled at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, the company’s 23rd year at the show.

A record number of people visited the company’s stand during the show (27th-30th September) to meet with the GlancyFawcett team, find out more about this exciting development and to view the world-exclusive collections on display at the event.

The decision to merge the sister companies was customer focused, to ensure their outputs are as streamlined and easy as possible. The decision follows years of the two brands working closely together on multiple projects from their newly renovated showroom and shared headquarters in Manchester, England. The showroom is home to the largest collection of luxury lifestyle pieces in Europe.

Robert Bieniasz, Managing Director of GlancyFawcett, said: “This has been a landmark year for us and it felt like the right time to take that final step and become GlancyFawcett. Monaco, our industry’s key meeting point, was the perfect opportunity to unveil this for the first time. We have exhibited at the show since it was only three years old, more than 20 years ago, so it holds a special place in our history.

“We are confident a more definitive union between the two companies sends a clear message to our customers that they can find the best quality products and service, unrivalled in the industry, all in one place. So far, the feedback has been really positive, which is fantastic.”

Company founders Kevin and Jonathan will remain in the business, taking on the roles of Business Development Director and Commercial Director respectively, focusing on their passions and personal strengths, whilst continuing to nurture and support the whole team. A number of new appointments and promotions have also been made to expand the team, ensuring the company continues to grow.

Jonathan and Kevin said: “We hope our customers will agree and see the benefits of our united front in the future. Our ethos as sister companies was always that this is a relationship business and it’s incredible to see that, 30 years on, our closest clients are also our oldest friends; it is a circle that continues to grow each year. Now we see our companies combine as we move into our next life stage. We couldn’t be more excited for the future of GlancyFawcett.”

2017 will also see global expansions for the company in Europe and North America, with more to be revealed on the former in the coming months. November 2017 marks the start of GlancyFawcett’s partnership with luxury resort community, Albany Bahamas, set over 600 oceanside acres.

Albany Bahamas is the collective vision of its founders, Joe Lewis and private investment organization Tavistock Group, along with golfing greats Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. GlancyFawcett have solely been invited to showcase its products from the Honeycomb building within Albany’s stunning marina.
