On Friday 25 March 2022, One Ocean Foundation and the Italian Sailing Federation FIV, met in Rome at the meeting of the national regional coordinators of all Italian sailing schools and on this occasion Jan Pachner, Secretary General of the Foundation and Arianna Liconti, Marine Education Project Manager, presented the educational materials and activities developed by OOF that will be integrated during the Federal courses of sailing instructors.

One Ocean Foundation will assist and provide all educational materials regarding ocean literacy and marine ecosystem protection to all Italian FIV sailing schools, supporting the sharing of environmental knowledge beyond sailing. Instructors will be trained on how to use the materials and how to use the simple citizen science protocols that the Foundation has created for the students.

We are very grateful for our partnership with FIV and excited to train the next generation of responsible sailors.
